Angels and Demons
the book, not the movie. yes, i can't believe i'm actually reading now. i watched the movie, yes. but i didn't really felt satisfied after coming out of the movie theater. don't get me wrong. i like the movie. it's fast-paced, it's thrilling, it's tom hanks, it's the illuminati! but somehow i feel like something is missing from the picture. like there's a few missing pieces to the puzzle. maybe i'm expecting too much of it. and so i said to myself; i had to go watch it one more time! but boy was i in for an unexpected surprise!
a couple of days later, i was lepaking at old town bangi, and there i saw a nice looking copy of angels & demons sitting there on the chair next to my table. i text aishah and told her about it. "ambik jelah", she said. well i waited for almost half n hour n nobody came to claim it. so with careful consideration and a few more minute waiting, i finally took borrowed it :D (i left my cell number at the counter in case some1 came back for it. but so far i've yet to receive any call from the kopitiam or the owner of the book)
i just finished reading chapter 29, page 104, and langdon hasn't even sat foot on rome yet! the prologue is totally different from the one in the big screens. and i find the book version more... um... complete. yah maybe i'll find the missing pieces from the movie in the book :)
